HOLO HOLO CHARTERS
TOUR WITH KAUAI’S FASTEST FLEET
At Holo Holo Charters we feel it’s our kuleana (responsibility) to conduct our operations in the most sustainable ways possible. We are conscious about our impact on not only the environment and natural resources, but also in our community. Holo Holo Charters is the only Kauai boat tour certified by STAH, in addition to being part of Surfriders Ocean Friendly Restaurant Program and the Kauai-Made program. Along these lines, we are proud to share with you our recently released 2022-2023 Sustainability Report.
Holo Holo Charters conducts sightseeing and snorkeling tours along Kauaʻi’s famous Nāpali Coast and is the only company offering daily trips to the “Forbidden Island” of Niʻihau and Lehua Crater to experience some of the best snorkeling in Hawaiʻi. Both of our vessels were built locally by the founder of Holo Holo Charters and designed with Kauaʻi’s unique ocean and weather conditions in mind. We have two catamarans departing out of Port Allen daily, offering a morning snorkel tour or a sunset dinner tour.
ʻSay Yes to Adventure’ and voyage with us in comfort and style on our custom-built vessels to experience the majestic Nāpali Coast. We’ll provide everything you need to have an adventure to remember!
HOLO HOLO CHARTERS CERTIFICATION HIGHLIGHTS
The information provided on the trip was top notch. All the staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the area, the cultural significance of the area, information about the wildlife we saw and how to best interact with the natural resources.
A guide from another company, when I asked where they learned their information, said that they had worked for Holoholo and the employee guide you gave out was really good.
Great to hear that you tried to use biofuels at the beginning and are looking into electric options. Consider contacting the Fair Winds Cruises on Hawaii (STAH Certified Operator) who is using biofuels on their boats.
Great that you have so many written policies about responsible purchasing, environmental watch plans, etc.
Great that you have a local expert on Hawaiian culture on your staff. See if they can provide trainings or written materials you can provide to staff and/or guests. Same with the Biologists you have on staff. They are great resources already available to your organization.
Good job responding to negative reviews on TripAdvisor with appropriate and thorough responses.
Good job on being Dolphin Smart certified and having the pamphlets available onboard your vessel.
