They spoke with a number of representatives, aides and influencers including Tourism Department Chairman Richard, H.K. Onishi. We look forward to working with more legislators to educate them on sustainable options for tourism in Hawaii.

ANNUAL AWARDS

STAH awards include Certified Ecotour Operator of the Year; Ecotour Guide of the Year; Travel Writer of the Year and new this year an award called Kupa’a Ho’aloha that will be awarded to a valued STAH volunteer. The award recipients will be honored at the Annual Awards Luncheon in Fall 2018.

The deadlines for nominations are July 31, 2018. Submit nominations to [email protected] and the name of the award in the subject line.
